Meaford Long Term Care Receives Accreditation Canada Exemplary Standing

WATERLOO, Ontario – peopleCare Communities is pleased to announce Meaford Long Term Care has earned Exemplary Standing under the Qmentum accreditation program. This is the highest level of performance by Accreditation Canada.

Meaford Long Term Care is committed to continually improving the quality of services and safety provided to residents, families, volunteers, and front line staff members. Standards examined include governance, leadership, risk management, infection prevention and control and medication management, as well as the quality of care.

Accreditation Canada, an independent, not-for-profit organization, accredits health care and social services organizations in Canada and around the world. This comprehensive program fosters quality, safety and accountability through evidence-based standards and a rigorous external peer review.
